30's Are so "Bling"
DH: What do you have here patna?
Bling: It’s a 1989 Chevy Caprice sitting on 30’s, candy red color with the 89 on the door representing the year of the car.
DH: I’m wondering what made you go 30’s with the infamous NY potholes?
Bling: The norm is going on 26’s or 28’s and I had to go 30’s regardless of the potholes. I always try to stay ahead of the competition in any level.
DH: Box Chevys are notorious in the south with the monster rims but slack with the music. Don’t get me wrong, they have beat but not on any crazy level, what do you in the box to tell people?
Bling: For bass I have (2) 15 subs ported through the seat, (8) 10” loudspeakers, (6) 8” Beyma, (8) Beyma SuperTweeters and 5 amps. I’m personally very satisfied on how clean and loud it sounds. Down south they do it with the 6x9 specials but I did it on another level.
DH: I’m sure your suspension had to be overhauled to accommodate the 30’s, what did you do?
Bling: I added a 7” lift kit, the rear quarter panels had to be cut in a few spots to make it work.
DH: I know you are the current DH SUV Champ with your excursion, is this your 4 door monster?
Bling: lol, I have the Impala that was showcased in the last issue for the battle scene but this one is just to floss and shit on lol. I have a 4 door battle title as well that I won at a trophy party.
DH: Winning a title at trophy party doesn’t make you champ playboy. DH 4 door championship is the real McCoy and you got to get that. Your thoughts?
Bling: Whatever, I have a title on the dash that says I’m da Boss
